Official Prohibited Items Policy
In accordance with Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) laws and transport regulations, shipping the following goods via MiraPost is strictly prohibited.
Weapons, Ammunition & Military Gear
Under KRG Weapons Law, the shipment and transit of any firearms, ammunition, gunpowder, knives, explosives, or hazardous fireworks are strictly prohibited and subject to legal prosecution.
Narcotics & Controlled Substances
Pursuant to KRG Anti-Narcotics Law, shipping illicit drugs, narcotics (crystal meth, hashish, captagon, tramadol) and unlicensed pharmaceuticals without Ministry of Health authorization is a severe criminal offense.
Cash Currency, Bullion & Precious Metals
Flammable, Toxic & Hazardous Chemicals
Courier transport of fuels, petroleum, compressed gas, corrosive acids, toxic poisons, and radioactive substances is prohibited by Civil Defense protocols.
Alcoholic Beverages & Illicit Spirits
Shipping all types of alcoholic beverages and spirits without authorized commercial trade transit licensing and customs manifest in the KRG is strictly prohibited.
Surveillance Devices, Jammers & Unlicensed Drones
Covert spy cameras, frequency jamming devices (jammers), illegal wiretapping gear, and unmanned aerial drones without Ministry of Interior security clearances are banned.
Live Animals, Birds & Protected Wildlife
Under KRG Environmental Protection Law and animal welfare standards, courier shipment of live pets, birds, reptiles, and protected wildlife is strictly prohibited.
Counterfeit, Stolen & Prohibited Goods
Transporting stolen goods, forged identification documents, counterfeit trademarks, official seals, or fraudulent merchandise is strictly banned under penal law.
